iTunes: Playlist Background Colour

If you’ve updated your iTunes to version 12+ recently, you may find some extra features…

When you add a picture to the playlist (just drag and drop), it will change the background colour of the ENTIRE playlist. Mine is a nice shade of blue now. But, you want it back in plain vanilla, the way I prefer it too.

Here’s how you do it on a Mac:

iTunes Preferences > General > UNCHECK under “Views: Use custom colors for open albums, movies, etc.”

And on a PC:

Edit > Preferences > General > UNCHECK under “Views: Use custom colors for open albums, movies, etc.”
